Dal Lake

Covering 26 square kilometres, it is the most adorable piece on earth. It is nestled within lush green mountains and offers the most immaculate view of nature in all its splendour. Shikara boat excursions, houseboats, and lake markets are tourist attractions.

A ride at Shikara is a must-do. The Shikaras are wooden boats with canopies that are elegantly ornamented and pointed at both ends.

Tulip garden

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, known as the Model Floriculture Center, is located in the foothills of the Zabarwan mountain range in Srinagar. It is Asia’s biggest tulip garden and overlooks the beautiful Dal Lake. Among the 48 types of tulips at the Tulip Garden are roses, daffodils, hyacinths, and iris.

Challi Point

Challi Point is one of Srinagar’s most fashionable and popular areas. With the Dal lake as a background, this location is bustling with visitors and residents enjoying some quality time in the middle of stunning scenery.

Small vendors strewn across the area serve seekh kababs and corn, which you may have while enjoying a pleasant and breezy evening.

Pari Mahal

Nestled in the Zabarwan Mountain, Pari Mahal is amongst the top tourist places to visit in Srinagar. Once the resident of Dara Shikoh, the Mughal Prince in 1600s, Pari Mahal or the Abode of Fairies is adorned with a seven-terraced garden that has a variety of flowering plants, trees, and shrubs for the visitors to see.

Shalimar Garden

Shalimar Bagh is the largest Mughal Garden in Kashmir valley and thus is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Srinagar.

Chashma Shahi

One of the must visit attraction in Srinagar, Chashme is mainly famous for its natural spring and is a part of the Mughal Gardens.

Dachigam Wildlife

A short distance away from Srinagar, Dachigam National Park is home to the rare and native Kashmiri Hangul or Stag along with other rich flora & fauna.

Nishant Garden

The second-largest Mughal Garden in Srinagar, Nishat Garden or Garden of Joy was built by Noor Jahan’s brother in 1633.

Situated in the heart of Srinagar, Kashmir Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course which also happens to be the oldest in Kashmir Valley
